I finally finished a doll.
I got side tracked with red work and small quilts plus all the everyday stuff.
I also spend way to much time on the pc just looking at STUFF and reading blogs.
Any one else working on dolls?
This doll is from a Susan Fosnot pattern. The clothes are my design. The 1st picture is her in progress picture. The 2nd is before I found the right ribbon and the vintage collar. She has narrow shoulders and the collar is perfect.
I am going to list this doll for sale on the new Doll Town site if I get approval.
If she sells ---I have a room full of dolls I am going to start selling. I have no more room.
Some of the dolls are classic style some are more modern.

You did a great job on this latest doll, and the collar works well to hide her narrow shoulders! I will watch closely your dolls for sale when they come up, thanks for sharing your beautiful work! And...yes I know what you mean about spending too much time on the pc, I must have been a powerhouse before the internet, because I sure am not that way anymore LOL!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful dolls you make! I've just started doll making and I love old fashioned painted cloth dolls. I have a lot to learn when it comes to painting.. A lot of practise and some classes perhaps! Kindest regards from Monica
